I love working with clay. It gives me peace. Sometimes I have a preconceived idea and sometimes I just start, for example, a cross vault and see where I end up. The architecture is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. I find churches, cathedrals and chapels very fascinating. It has probably something to do with my background in Limburg, where on every corner you can find a little chapel.

Do not be fooled by the titles of my work. These are deliberately provocative. Judging is very human but I would love you to examine and look at the truth. To hopefully realise a world where everyone can be themselves. And at peace living together.
